Delicious and different! Enjoyed a Christmas week dinner and ended up with left overs thanks to generous portions. Burger reminded me of quick pickles and was not too filling, served with a pile of delicious rosemary fries just to make sure you don't leave hungry. I opted for a side of nacho cheese and highly suggest the combination. Chicken Jaeger Schnitzel was massive and the mushroom sauce balanced and enhanced the schnitzel and brussel sprouts very well. Creme brulee featured a particularly thick sugar shell and was a good size to split, we tried the Sweet Potato Crostata after seeing there were no pictures on Yelp and while I would have loved a side of the caramel sauce it was a delicious pastry. Great beer and delicious food with two bars makes this a great stop before a night out in Baltimore.

Fun spot in Baltimore near the Lyric! We went to see a comedian at the Lyric and wanted a spot afterwards for late night drinks. This bar is about a 10 minute walk from the Lyric. They have a bar upstairs and a bar downstairs so there was plenty of space.

Brewer's Art offers a truly unique experience to any beer-lover in the area. The downstairs bar is my favorite, with a more quirky vibe, but feel free to check out the upstairs bar/restaurant if you're looking for something more classy and less noisy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a sour on the menu as well as a Russian stout. Both were delicious beers! If it's your first time, I recommend one of their classic beers (i.e., Beazly or Resurrection). They also have happy hour if you can make it there before 7 PM, which I always miss due to work!

We were in the area on vacation and always like to hit up some local breweries on our travels. This was on our list of maybes but a local said we should definitely check it out. I also appreciated the later hours as it gave us a place to grab a drink when a lot of other breweries were closed. We got there just about when they were shutting the upstairs for the night but at least we got to look at it. The upstairs is beautiful and bright. It's more of a restaurant feel with some bar seating. Then you head downstairs and it's dark and moody. Chairs and couches tucked into corners. A small bar with just a few seats. A short taplist but with some interesting options and usually some Belgians on draft. I tried a new to me style that sounded good and it was an easy drinker but absolutely delicious. A beer I could have sat and drank all day (if it wasn't past my bedtime). Prices were reasonable. Fun environment. If we are back in the area I may return to try some food and enjoy the upstairs. I definitely recommend checking this place out whether from the area of just visiting.

There are so many great things going on here, starting with the beer and besides one hiccup, all the beers were phenomenal. Mars was my beertender and if you are lucky, he can help you find some great beer. I sat at the bar and ordered a flight, but on Sunday all their $8 beers are only $5 and this place will break any chance you have of working Monday. The BEER: Resurrection Abbey-style brown ale 7% ABV... Oh wow, such a great flavor and mouth feel. Wonderful!!! Beazly golden ale 7 5% ABV... Hella great. So smooth and clove forward. I could drink this all day, but would definitely need someone else driving. Slight fruity and totally crushable if you are not driving and don't want to work the next day. So deceptively smooth. Birdhouse pale ale 5% ABV... I didn't like this at all, whatever it was, yuck!!! For me it tasted like fermented throw up. This is absolutely awful. Sunny Side of the Street sour ale 3.9% ABV... ... easy drinking, a little acidic, but it was good. Imagine a Miller or Bud with Belgian banana clove flavor. It was quite crushable. Standing in the Shadows Russian Imperial Ale 8.8% ABV... so very good, tasted like a great imperial Stout, but I do understand styles make beers and it says this is an ale. A great beer none the less. St. Festus winter warmer 8% ABV... this is a perfectly brown Belgian ale. I am not familiar with winter warmers, but from the few I have had, this is my favorite. I also had a Piggy Back whiskey 6 year aged. Not sure what I was going for, but just let me know there is something for everyone here. They have mixed drinks and a heavy hand. So for food I ordered the Chicken Jagerschnitzel. The spatzle noodles were over cooked, the Schnitzel was nuked, but it was still all right. The Schnitzel lacked flavor and could have used a lot more mushroom sauce. It was edible and after a day of drinking, just right. Decent. I will be rating the beer and ambiance more than the food. This was a great experience. Can't wait to return. If you like Belgians and you are in Baltimore, this is the Brewers Art is the first, last and only stop. Highly recommend Brewers Art.

Had to treat my goddaughter to dinner and we settled on the Brewers Art. Since it was close by and had delicious food. It had been a minute since I have been here. They have a small lot close by and you can find on street parking. Parking is not enforced on Sunday evening. Came with my goddaughter for dinner on a Sunday. I made reservations but it wasn't very crowded so we probably could have walked in and gotten a table. We got there before the sunny fares opened at 5 pm so we went to a bar for a pregame drink. I have the winter festivus on draft and she had a sangria. For my meal I decided on the chicken schnitzel sandwich that came rosemary garlic fries and aioli sauce. The food came out pretty quickly. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was nice and crispy on the exterior with a moist juicy interior. It was topped with pickles, lettuce, and a creamy sauce. The fries were crispy and well seasoned too. I had a a sweet tooth after dinner and actually decided to get some dessert. Unfortunately they were out of the crème brûlée. I ended up settling for the apple pie skillet that came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was a prefect end to a delicious meal. I was a little shocked that theorem was no crust to rhetorical apple pie. It was just the filling with a scoop of ice cream. I wound probably it get it again Other than dessert the evening was perfect on this trip. The service was great. The waiter who appeared to also be the host seating everyone was still friendly and attentive. Never had to look for him to ask for anything.

This visit was for Happy hour! Vibes are chill, prices are decent, portions are on the smaller side. The bar fills up quickly so keep that in mind for service.

This was an awesome spot that I will definitely return to! We stopped in during our visit to Baltimore (will be relocating there soon). The inside is gorgeous with beautiful decor and details and a large dining area plus bar. We were just there for drinks and took a seat at the bar. Aubree and Faren took care of us and were amazing! They were happy to share information about the area and made us out of towners feel right at home. They had a good selection of beer and we loved everything we tried. There is a basement section of this business also; we will be checking that out for sure when we return!

This has got to be the most beautiful restaurant I've visited in Baltimore. Old world charm in a historic building - you're essentially dining in a fancy, very well restored/maintained mansion. Be sure to look up at the ceilings as you walk into each new room!! We ordered a few things across the table, including the cheeseburger, steak frites, and the chicken jeagerschnitzel. Whatever you do, make sure the dish you order comes with their signature rosemary fries: they are PHENOMENAL. HOLY COW. Of our dishes, the fries (lol) were the winners and the jeagerschnitzel was my lease favorite (overall bland). Then there were the desserts: we ordered a few ice creams and brown butter cookies. HOLY COW: THOSE BROWN BUTTER COOKIES! I desperately hope they're on the menu the next time we visit, because I've been dreaming about them ever since. It's like a deconstructed chocolate chip cookie, all the goodness of the cookie sans the chocolate, then the whole thing is dipped in a light fudgey chocolate on its side. Loved them. Service wasn't bad!
